Job Description - Client Services Representative

Waystone leads the way in specialist services for the asset management industry. Partnering with institutional investors, investment funds and asset managers, Waystone builds, supports and protects investment structures and strategies worldwide.


 


With over 20 years’ experience and a comprehensive range of specialist services to its name, Waystone is now serving assets under management in excess of $2Tn. Waystone provides its clients with the guidance and tools to allow them to focus on managing their investment goals with confidence.


 


Summary: Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Representative will be an integral part of the Waystone team, responsible for ensuring a high-quality service for our IMD/clients across all our applicable service disciplines including Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Custody. The role is also responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with Investment Managers and internal stakeholders by working collaboratively with all business units to ensure IMD/client satisfaction.


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 


·       Manage all IMD/client operational queries through to a timely and accurate resolution using all forms of communication.


·       To be the main day to day contact for all operational queries for IMD/clients.


·       Participate in or lead IMD/client service review meetings.


·       Develop and maintain relationships with IMDs/clients.


·       Work collaboratively with all internal departments.  


·       Responsibility to adhere to Waystone’s policies and procedures.


·       Ensure the ongoing mitigation of business risk.


 


EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:


 


·       Good working knowledge of the UK Funds industry with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an investment funds environment.


·       Excellent problem-solving skills.


·       Excellent communication and written skills


·       Ability to build internal and external relationships at all levels.


·       Good analytical skills – can identify trends, issues and provide recommendations that address root causes.


·       Knowledge and experience of the administration of Unit Trusts and OEICs.


 


EDUCATION:


 


Relevant regulatory exams, such as full IOC, IMC
