HGV Technician

Due to our continued success as one of the country's leading haulage transport companies within the agricultural business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic who takes pride in maintaining a 'second to none' transport fleet.

• Location: AB Texel UK – Wood Lane, Greetham (LE15 7SN)
• Job type: Full time, permanent (Mon to Fri 07:30 - 17:30, Saturday's as part of a rota 07:30-13:00)
• On call and Out of Hours as part of a rota.
• Pay: £17.95ph to £22.80ph

Job description
You will have the opportunity to independently carry out repairs, servicing and troubleshooting on our specialist trailers as part of an established team.

Who are you?

• You would ideally have a technical qualification (Level 2 and above), or proven experience repairing and maintaining HGV vehicles and trailers.
• Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Flexible attitude and a willingness to learn new skills to effectively undertake the role.
• HGV licence is an advantage but not essential.
