History teacher- Over-subscribed school in Westminster- April start

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive History lessons that align with the national curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and development
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-curricular activities and initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with educational trends, teaching methodologies, and content-related developments in the field of History
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to build positive relationships with families and the wider community

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History, Education or a related field
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for teaching and a dedication to nurturing a love for History in students
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom resources and materials
