HVAC Engineer

The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to support the delivery of critical projects within a highly regulated environment, contributing to technically challenging and safety-focused work.

Candidates with experience in nuclear, defence, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, or heavy industrial sectors are encouraged to apply.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles
HVAC Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, Project Engineer, Building Services Design Engineer, Systems Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Mechanical Consultant.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Develop and deliver ventilation and HVAC system designs, including calculations for airflow, pressure, and system performance
Produce detailed technical documentation such as specifications, design reports, and engineering drawings
Ensure all engineering outputs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements
Support projects throughout their lifecycle, including design reviews, installation phases, and commissioning activities
Evaluate and improve existing systems, providing technical input for upgrades, maintenance, and fault resolutionYou will have the following qualifications and experience
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Proven track record in ventilation or HVAC system design
Experience working within highly regulated environments such as nuclear, defence, or similar industries
Strong knowledge of airflow principles, pressure systems, and ventilation design methodologies
Skilled in producing clear, structured engineering documentation to meet quality standardsGet in touch now
