Job Description
Shift: I (12:00AM – 8:00AM) (Temporary)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide excellent customer service, accurate information, and way-finding to our patients, guests, and vendors at the main entrance to our facility in accordance with our mission and values. To accurately maintain our visitation processes.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for identifying patient/visitor-related customer dissatisfiers at the information desk and to respond in real time. To help navigate patients and guests and to provide adequate coverage on a daily basis.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all protocols and policies related to patient’s bill of rights.
- Follow all protocols and policies related to patient visitation.
- Greet and interact with all persons in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer all inquiries (in-person, telephonic, email) in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information in response to all inquiries and direct concerns/complaints to the appropriate department for follow up.
- Maintain patient information in accordance with HIPAA.
- Accurately and professionally provide appropriate visitation access through the processing and distribution of visitor passes.
- Model and embody ICARE in all behaviors, as well as the person-centered care philosophy that supports our caring culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Assignment Level I
1. High School diploma or GED; and
2. One (1) year of full-time customer service experience; and
3. Good written and oral English communication skills; and
4. Computer skills, including word processing, spread sheet and/or database software programs
Assignment Level II
1. High School diploma or GED; and
2. Two (2) years of full-time customer service experience, including one (1) year of supervisory/administrative experience; and
3. Good written and oral English communication skills; and
