Benefits & Perks Options
The Property/Materials Manager (Facilities Manager) will oversee the daily operations of campus management and logistics activities through staff and contracted vendor services across all three CGCC campus locations. Manages work orders and ensures timely customer services and issues resolution. Ensures staff and vendors have timely access to the resources needed to fulfill responsibilities. Supervises the development, implementation and continuous improvement of OSHA safety regulations in all college departments and divisions. Ensures the training and development of assigned staff through mentorship, training, and job expectations
25% - Vendor management: Provides oversight and quality control related to third-party college maintenance services, including custodial services and grounds maintenance.
25% - Custodial services supervision: Manages the college’s custodial team, through supervision of custodial leads and ownership of custodial work orders.
15% - Landscape operations supervision: Manages the college’s grounds maintenance team, through supervision of the grounds lead and ownership of grounds work orders.
15% - Event Support: Supports college and third-party events on campus by managing time-sensitive cleaning, event set-up, and event clean-up/tear down work orders.
10% - Inventory Management: This includes all tools, equipment, consumable and expendable supplies used in landscape or custodial operations.
10% - Safety Program Management: Serves as the department’s OSHA coordinator, ensuring staff training and developing appropriate departmental procedures.
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in business administration, public administration or directly related field and five (5) years of fulltime equivalent work experience in administrative operations associated with the delivery of property and materials services, procurement contract negotiations and project management that includes two (2) years of supervisory experience.
OR
Associates’ degree from a regionally accredited institution and seven (7) years of fulltime equivalent work experience in administrative operations associated with the delivery of property and materials services, procurement contract negotiations and project management that includes two (2) years of supervisory experience.
OR
High School Diploma/GED and nine (9) years of fulltime equivalent work experience in administrative operations associated with the delivery of property and materials services, procurement contract negotiations and project management that includes two (2) years of supervisory experience.
7. Experience working in a Facilities Management or Facilities Services department or company
Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving:
