The Assistant Controller plays a critical role in supporting the Corporate Controller with financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and advancing the organization’s strategic financial goals. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of driving operational excellence while managing a team. What You'll Do:

• Lead timely and accurate financial close processes per US GAAP.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state/federal exclusion lists, and other applicable regulations.
• Provide financial analysis support and assist department managers with their monthly financials.
• Support seamless integration of newly acquired entities into accounting systems and processes.
• Actively manage and coach the Accounts Payable team.
• Review A/P batches for proper authorization, coding, and timeliness.
• Maintain strong cross-department communication and collaboration.

Hours and Benefits: This is a full-time, fully benefited position that is eligible to receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k), PTO, and wellness incentives. Benefits add roughly 20–30% additional income to the pay range.

Location: Cottonwood Heights, Utah 

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience in accounting and A/P
• CPA preferred
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar middle-market ERP
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
• Must pass Federal and State Exclusion Screenings
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
