Position Summary

The Group Creative lead is a strategic creative leader who sets a clear vision and guides the team to deliver strong, impactful work across multiple channels and lines of business. They drive results by anticipating challenges, prioritizing workload effectively, and leveraging business knowledge to deliver creative solutions that meet objectives and position the team as a trusted partner. This role fosters an inclusive, collaborative environment, holds teams accountable, and inspires high performance through clear decision-making, integrity, and constructive feedback.

  • Leads team to deliver strong creative that is strategically sound
  • Consistently delivers work across multiple channels and lines of business
  • Demonstrates ability to set a clear vision for the team and to improve creative ideas
  • Leverages knowledge of the business to offer solutions to the team

Qualifications

  • Degree in related field
  • 6-10+ years of experience with ad agencies or in-house creative teams
  • Strong overall creative direction
  • Experience leading brands, projects, and creative teams
  • Portfolio with highly creative campaigns and versatility across all media
  • Background as an art director
  • Conversant in industry trends and current technology
  • Fluent with integrating data and analytics into creative ideas and execution

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $130,500.00 - $161,750.00
