Your Impact
We’re looking for a Demand Planner to help us better understand what our customers need and when they need it. In this role, you’ll turn data into insights, build demand forecasts, and work closely with teams across the business to keep inventory flowing smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain accurate demand forecast at sku level using historical sales data, promotional strategy, launch dates and lifecycle information.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to incorporate promotions, new product launches, and market intelligence into monthly sales and margin forecasts.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvements to forecasting models and processes.
- Support inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Prepare and present forecast reports, assumptions, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Monitor demand variability and identify risks to supply chain continuity.
- Maintain demand planning tools, systems, and master data to ensure data accuracy.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance forecast reliability and operational efficiency.
- Continuously identify and develop areas for improvement related to monthly forecasting process.
- Drive sku/style rationalization by recommending reduction/expansion based on analytics.
- Be a strategic partner in developing position by category with style count guidance.
- Clearly communicate with key stakeholders accordingly – including (but not limited to) Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain partners.
What You’ve Accomplished
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles.
- Experience with ERP or demand planning tools (D365 and Power BI).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Elevated storytelling and communication capabilities; ability to pivot from numbers into action-oriented insights.
- Strong influencing skills, including experience collaborating with virtual teams.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking).
- High level of proficiency with Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, & macros.
- Independently analyze and solve problems of moderate complexity.
