Job Description - Digital Commerce Operations Manager

Digital Commerce Operations Manager

(Retail Systems & Digital Shelf Integrity)

About Tina’s Burritos

Tina’s Burritos, owned by Camino Real Foods, Inc., is the #1 frozen single-serve burrito brand in America. Every day, we produce over one million budget-friendly, great-tasting burritos at our Los Angeles, California manufacturing facility — delivering convenience, flavor, and essential nutrition to consumers nationwide.

Our burritos are slow-cooked in kettles to develop rich, satisfying flavor, then flash-frozen to lock in freshness. Since 1984, customers across generations have trusted Tina’s Burritos for quality, value, and accessibility. We are proud to make high-quality food that helps reduce food insecurity while saving people time and money.

Tina’s Burritos products are available in frozen and deli sections at grocery, mass, convenience, and foodservice retailers across the United States.

Why This Role Exists

Retail has changed — fast.

Products no longer compete only on physical shelves. Increasingly, retailer systems and algorithms determine what shoppers see, what qualifies for fulfillment, and what quietly disappears due to data errors, eligibility issues, or system misalignment.

This role exists to protect and operate Tina’s digital shelf infrastructure. The Digital Commerce Operations Manager owns the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of Tina’s product data and digital shelf presence across retail platforms — ensuring products remain visible, eligible, and conversion-ready even when no advertising is running.

This is a hands-on execution and systems role, not a marketing strategy or people-management position.

This role requires prior hands-on experience supporting grocery or mass-retail digital shelf ecosystems; it is not designed as a training or apprenticeship role.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position.

Tina’s maintains an open office in Bentonville, Arkansas; however, daily in-office presence is not required. Team members may work from the office as often as they choose.  We do have monthly meetings where the team does get together in person.

What You’ll Do

Digital Shelf & Product Data Operations (Core Responsibility)

You will directly set up, maintain, and correct product listings across retailer ecosystems using platforms such as:

  • 1WorldSync / Syndigo

  • Retailer content portals (as applicable)

You will ensure alignment across:

  • GTINs and case packs

  • Packaging and imagery

  • Attributes and eligibility flags

  • Nutrition and ingredient data

You will:

  • Own digital shelf accuracy and content completeness

  • Identify and correct data mismatches, system overwrites, and syndication errors

  • Verify that fixes are live on retailer product detail pages (PDPs)

  • Maintain GS1-compliant naming and image standards

Digital Shelf Health Monitoring (12-KPI Scorecard)

You will maintain and operate a defined 12-KPI Digital Shelf Health Scorecard tracking:

  • Visibility

  • Availability

  • Conversion readiness

  • Fulfillment eligibility

You will:

  • Monitor trends and early warning signals

  • Identify risks before they impact sales

  • Maintain a simple, trusted dashboard for leadership review

Retail Platform Monitoring & Issue Resolution

You will conduct recurring audits of priority retailer PDPs and monitor:

  • Search visibility and recommendation presence

  • Same-day / fast-delivery eligibility

  • Customer-facing in-stock signals

  • Review volume and sentiment shifts

You will:

  • Identify root causes of performance issues

  • Coordinate fixes with Sales, Marketing, and Operations

  • Track issues through resolution to completion

Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Translation

You will translate system-level and algorithmic changes into clear, factual insights for Sales and leadership.

This role:

  • Provides system context, not legacy reporting

  • Helps prevent reactionary decisions based on incomplete or misleading data

  • Aligns commercial decisions with digital shelf realities

Retail Media Execution (Guard-railed & Conditional)

Retail media at Tina’s is used selectively as a maintenance and recovery tool, not as always-on advertising.

Under clearly defined triggers, budgets, and creative guardrails, this role may be authorized to:

  • Launch limited campaigns to restore search visibility

  • Rebuild conversion signals after suppression or data disruption

  • Pause or shut down campaigns once recovery objectives are met

This role does not own retail media strategy, annual budgets, or awareness campaigns. Strategic investment decisions remain centralized with executive leadership.

Future-Readiness

You will help keep Tina’s products retail-media ready by:

  • Maintaining clean, reliable system inputs

  • Ensuring fast activation capability when needed

  • Supporting adaptation as AI continues to reshape retail commerce

What This Role Does NOT Do

  • Does not manage people

  • Does not create brand or campaign strategy

  • Does not manage social media

  • Does not design packaging

  • Does not own pricing, trade spend, or retailer negotiations

  • Does not perform legacy sales analyst reporting

This role exists to protect digital shelf integrity and operational system health.

Who You Are

  • 3–7 years’ experience in:

    • Ecommerce or retail operations

    • Digital shelf management

    • Product data governance

    • Marketplace or retail systems

  • Systems-oriented, detail-driven, and execution-focused

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Strong written communicator (clear, concise, factual)

  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable with AI-driven tools

  • Calm in complexity — you prefer preventing problems to reacting to them

Career Growth

This role provides a strong foundation for future growth into broader digital commerce or marketing leadership roles based on performance and interest.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • 401(k) and HSA options

  • Remote-first flexibility with optional office access

  • Professional development opportunities

  • Mentorship and exposure to executive leadership
