The LA Clippers and Intuit Dome are hiring a Disguise System Operator. In this role you will play a vital role within the Broadcast and Engineering Team. Reporting to the Director of Broadcast and Associate Director of Broadcast, this role is an integral part of the HALO’s success, content managing, technical maintenance, system checks, and operating the core systems including Disguise. We are looking for someone who has an extensive broadcast and engineering background that includes a flawless understanding of video workflows, 3D environments and live event show control system integrations. The ideal candidate also has experience working and building projects within Disguise media servers, live events background with experience working within real-time environments both natively, NOTCH and Unreal.

Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operate and maintain Disguise media systems at Intuit Dome.
- Prepare systems and sessions, including loading, testing, verifying, ingestion and proper mapping of content for LA Clippers and all Intuit Dome Concert Tours and Events.
- Assist external partners including concert tours, and events, with hardware integrations and provide tangible solutions to integrate their show efficiently and creatively, leveraging the HALO to its fullest potential.
- Manage Media and content for Disguise systems.
- Collaborate and develop reliable and seamless workflow solution with Daktronics Show Controller and Ross Tessera broadcast infrastructure.
- Ensure Disguise Media solution seamlessly powers all relevant aspects of LA Clippers Games, Concert Tours and Events.
- Provide feedback on hardware issues with leadership and oversee the proper maintenance to ensure systems stay operable.
- Help update system diagrams, documentation, and event notes as directed.
- Oversee and lead the training of any broadcast staff relevant to the Disguise Notch and Unreal workflows and systems.
- Conduct content QA checks (resolution, codec, color space) prior to ingestion.
- Prepare and organize content libraries for game presentations, concerts, and special events.
- Assist in building or editing timelines, layers, mappings, and routing inside Disguise as assigned
- Support basic Show-Control cues (OSC, MIDI, DMX, UDP triggers) under supervision.
- Work closely with engineering and creative teams to ensure accurate execution of playback needs.
- Participate in technical rehearsals to ensure readiness.
Your Background:
- 5+ years of experience in a related position using Disguise.
- Basketball and concert touring knowledge a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and supportive working relationships.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to partner with multiple departments on projects at one time.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative group environment, be a flexible and reliable team player, both within broadcast department and the company as a whole.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of disguise media servers.
- Proficient in using Unreal and Notch real-time environments.
- Thorough Understanding of live events workflows, LED systems, and routing
- Knowledge of DMX, TCP/IP, UDP, and networking.
- Experience in using diagramming tools such as AutoCAD & Vector Works
- Comfortable communicating in a technical dialogue as a representative of the LA Clippers and Intuit Dome.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Efficient management of repairs, stock, and support tasks.
- Expertise in servicing, maintaining, and building custom racks for media servers.
- Proficiency in system upgrades, desktop support, and hardware maintenance for Windows and MacOS.
About Intuit Dome:
Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different -- it will redefine fans’ expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.
Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.
Compensation
- The range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- The role is classified as exempt.
