The Operations team plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless settlement, servicing, and accurate representation of trading assets across various platforms. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge organization, we want to hear from you. **Role Overview:** As a **Financial Operations Associate**, you will join the Operations team and provide essential middle-office and post-trade support. You will be directly involved in critical activities, including trade reconciliations, operational risk control, and collaborating with technology teams to develop and enhance automated processes. Your work will support the organization’s goal of achieving 100% straight-through processing and managing operational risk effectively. **Key Responsibilities:*** Perform trade reconciliations and resolve discrepancies * Define and implement operational risk controls * Reconcile internal positions across multiple counterparties and asset classes * Manage exceptions related to admin positions, transactions, and cash reconciliations * Oversee T+0 matching and settlements across various asset classes and markets * Handle mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, as well as post-trade event lifecycles * Analyze the current operational platform to improve straight-through processing and identify efficiencies * Collaborate with technology teams to automate processes and drive innovation * Track, resolve, and remediate operational incidents **Ideal Candidate:*** 5+ years of operations experience in an investment management firm, fund administrator, or bank * BA/BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field * Experience in the full trade lifecycle and post-trade processing in equities and macro asset classes * Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and insights * Proficiency in Excel (experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment **Benefits:*** Fully paid medical and dental insurance premiums for employees and dependents * Competitive 401k match and employer-paid life & disability insurance * Onsite gyms with laundry service, wellness activities, casual dress, snacks, and game rooms * Tuition reimbursement, conference, and training sponsorship * Generous vacation and unlimited sick days, competitive paid caregiver leave * Flexible hybrid work model with a budget for home office setup If you're ready to make an impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment, apply now and take the next step in your career!
