Job Description

The top investor-owned energy company in the US provides a wide range of energy-related products and services to its variety of customers which include renters, residential owners, small and medium sized businesses, commercial, industrial, community affairs, and more. Operating as one of the world's largest energy delivery systems across clean energy, electric, gas and steam services.

The electric eGIS team has recently transitioned from their legacy mapping systems to Esri's ArcFM platform, which is an ongoing enterprise level data migration that effects all internal and external customers. Looking for a GIS Admin to support project 'Go Live' and assist in white space clean up on maps to improve overall accuracy in data. The Electric Operations group received a primary set of feeders which represents a layer of distribution lines that supply power to specific areas. In this role, you will receive a set of feeders to maintain and identify what changes need to be made such as, font size, text labels, proximity, and location, as these indicators affect how information is tracked and managed in the field. You will be expected to report on gaps and propose areas of improvement to mitigate potential risk factors and ensure system operates efficiently. Skills and Requirements

Proficient in ArcGIS, Esri Map, or similar.

Experience in Geographic Information System (GIS).

Experience in an administrative or data entry role.

Ability to provide system maintenance and improve operations.

Excellent communication and professionalism.

Local to NYC and OK 3 days/week onsite in Brooklyn, New York. Experience in ArcFM.

Utility industry experience.

Bachelor's in GIS related field. null
