Production Assembler

The Production Assembler-Level 1 assembles products or components focusing on ensuring items are put together according to specific instructions, drawing and/or quality requirements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Verify cable/ wire and parts against work order bill of material and drawings.

· Read drawing/build work order instructions and verify cable/wire cut lengths.

· Build assembly per drawing/quality specification and requirements.

· Test first piece connector assemblies for electrical continuity.

· Make visual inspections on crimps and solders.

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues when necessary.

· Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

· Ensure work order build times conform to build standards and order due dates.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a production or assembly role is preferred.

· Ability to read and understand technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

· Proficiency in using hand tools and assembly machinery.

· Strong attention to detail and quality control.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

· Basic math skills for measuring and calculating parts.

· Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
