THE ROLE

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of retail stores/kiosks. This role provides excellent customer service and seeks creative ways to operate effectively and efficiently. The Retail Operations Manager reports to the Merchandise GM and is based out of Yankee Stadium.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accountable for game day concourse and daily retail operations
• Adhere to all security, control, and safety procedures set by Yankee Stadium officials
• Responsible for store sets and product levels in all remote locations
• Facilitate and count month-end physical inventories
• Manage set-up, take down, and logistical components of product movement
• Facilitate game day and non-game day staffing needs
• Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming merchandise, sales, and promotions
• Train and coach new associates in daily tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and communication
• Work independently and/or in a team environment
• Assist with retail strategies incorporating planning, forecasting, purchasing, and product development
• Develop and forecast financial plans and open-to-buys for the merchandise hierarchy
• Execute unit planning and buying strategy derived from the established financial plan
• Work with vendors on cost negotiations and pricing strategy
• Analyze vendor, product, and total category performance
• Complete other duties as assigned by the GM of Merchandise

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
