Senior Engineering Manager

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (1 FTE) to provide professional engineering research and program management support to the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role supports the Airman Biosciences Division (711 HPW/RHBA), contributing to hazard mitigation, public health, contingency operations, human systems integration, and biomedical research that supports the Air Force Medical Service’s mission readiness and modernization priorities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Engineering Manager will support acquisition, research, and engineering activities critical to military system development, performance enhancement, and operations-enabling health protection. Duties include:

• Provide technical and program management support, including budget analysis, contract oversight, and deliverables tracking
• Assist with procurement packages, equipment acquisitions, and compliance with Air Force policies and procedures
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), engineering plans, and technical execution strategies
• Maintain and update contracting and procurement documentation in accordance with Air Force records procedures
• Track purchase transactions and assist with budget and resource planning
• Analyze acquisition data and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and compliance
• Draft technical documents, reports, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across government, academia, and industry
• Deliver briefings and coordinate tours for stakeholders and leadership
• Support continuous improvement through process recommendations and resource analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical science or engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in DoD acquisition or engineering project/program management
• At least 2 years’ experience managing military system development programs, including design reviews, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• Proven ability to effectively communicate technical information, including presentations to senior leadership
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce clear technical reports and presentations
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to support project planning and execution
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Project)
• Active Secret Clearance
• US Citizen

Highly Desired Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience within the DoD
• 5+ years of DoD program management experience
• Familiarity with military and medical terminology
