Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision

Employment Type: Full-time (Probation: 2 months)

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Onsite, with 1 work-from-home day per week)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with expertise in Deep Learning and Computer Vision to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge projects, developing and implementing machine learning solutions for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full life-cycle of machine learning projects, including:
• Gathering user requirements
• Planning solutions
• Data collection and curation
• Model training, testing, and deployment
• Research and integrate the latest technologies in deep learning, computer vision, and robotics to solve complex problems.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain in-house AI technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine learning and computer vision.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Must-Have:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, including model training, optimization, and deployment.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or C/C++.
• Deep knowledge in at least one area of computer vision and deep learning, such as:
• Image classification
• Semantic segmentation
• Object detection
• OCR
• Vision-language models
• 3D reconstruction
• Strong mathematical foundation in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch (preferred), TensorFlow, Jax/Flax, Scikit-learn).
• Soft Skills:
• Independent problem-solving and project-delivery skills.
• Strong teamwork and a willingness to learn and improve.
• Intermediate in English for communication (speaking, reading, writing).

Nice-to-Have:

• A deep understanding of machine learning theory or publications in relevant conferences.
• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, Docker/Docker Swarm.
• Experience with robotics or robotics-related technologies (e.g., motion planning, control systems).
• Knowledge in other machine learning domains (e.g., NLP, recommendation systems).
• Passion for technical challenges, critical thinking, and business impact.

Interviews will be conducted in a mix of English and Vietnamese.
