Job Description - Sales Manager (Non Apparel)

Job summary

A rapidly expanding textile company is currently looking for a Sales Manager to be based in Ho Chi Minh City.

This Sales Manager role is responsible for all sales activity in Vietnam and reports to the Sales Director directly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business development initiatives targeting garment manufacturing groups and local brand liaison offices in Vietnam and Cambodia. Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, including those in Materials, Innovation, and Product Development teams, to showcase our company's offerings and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive factory account penetration strategies, fostering relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Implement detailed brand account penetration plans, under the guidance of the Business Development Director and General Director.
  • Supervise a team of three direct associates in Vietnam, providing guidance for their professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational sales objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development Director and General Director to analyze sales performance and competitive trends against established plans and goals. Take or recommend appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Experience requirements

  •  Experience working within the athletic footwear industry, and an understanding of footwear design, product development, sourcing/manufacturing, and downstream supply chain. Working in the accessories (button, zipper…) is also acceptable
  • Strong preference for existing network of garment factory and brand relationships
  •  Ability to navigate complex buying organizations, including executive decision makers and key influencers, across multiple geographies.
  •  Effective persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  •  Proficiency using technology: CRM-style pipeline management tools to drive and manage new sales, account plans. Skilled in virtual presentations, remote sales presentations.
