A Telemarketer, also known as a Telesales Representative, is a professional whose job is to contact potential clients and customers by phone. A telemarketer uses a prepared sales script to promote a product or service by informing the customers about its features and prices. They have a thorough understanding of the product and can provide answers to the common queries of the customers. The main target of a telemarketer is to generate sales for the company either by cold calling or by answering the enquiries of potential customers. A telemarketer generally works in a call centre and is usually located in an open floor office with a group of other representatives.
