Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time plus Full Benefits, including a 401(k)

Salary: $85/hour plus OT with a sign-on bonus and annual retention bonus

Position Overview: 

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays.
• A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: Experity with Dragon dictation - document all patients in one minute

We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield and into Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, and Los Angeles.  Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certification
• One (1) year of current urgent care experience, either on-site or remote
