Accounts Payable Officer

We're currently partnering with a well-established organisation based in Cannington that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking for long-term stability.

*As this is a genuine temp to perm opportunity, you must have full, unlimited work rights to be considered for this role*

The Role:

Reporting into a supportive finance team, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across a busy portfolio. This role will see you processing high volumes daily, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing (high volume)
• Preparing and reviewing fortnightly payment runs
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Processing ad hoc payments and staff reimbursements
• Managing supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider finance team as required

About You:

• Previous experience in a high-volume AP role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable working autonomously and within a team environment
• Intermediate Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems preferred
• Available to commence at short notice
