Accounts Payable Officer

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a highly regarded organisation based in the western suburbs.

This eight month temporary ongoing role will see you take ownership of a fast-paced and complex accounts payable function.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• High volume processing of supplier invoices
• 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders & goods received
• Resolving supplier queries
• Setting up and preparing for weekly and monthly payment runs
• Inventory reconciliations
• Account and statement reconciliations
• Intercompany payments / reconciliations

Your Profile

To be successful, you will have proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role, with experience working within an OCR / scanning environment. This position will also involve complex reconciliations and detailed month-end reporting.

Previous experience in a manufacturing / warehousing environment will be advantageous.

Although working as part of a larger finance team this role will involve taking ownership of the accounts payable function.
