Key
Responsibilities

• Design & implement a modern Azure data platform leveraging lakehouse principles
  (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics,
  and Power BI
  
• Lead lakehouse/medallion architecture end‑to‑end: ingestion, transformation,
  governance, and consumption with Delta Lake patterns and performance
  optimization
  
• Own large -scale migrations from SAP ECC to Synapse; define extraction strategies, data modeling,
  reconciliation, and cutover plans.
  
• Evaluate and pilot Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including Direct Lake for Power BI;
  document findings and guide adoption.
  
• Architect event -driven integrations for retail/price services using Azure Service
  Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. (based on your
  stated requirements)
  
• Lead legacy -to -D365 application/data migration using
  ADF, coordinating a team of ~20
  engineers; establish delivery standards and review gates.
  
• Automate CI/CD with Azure DevOps across ADF, Databricks, Synapse, and Power BI;
  enforce branching, code review, and environment promotion
  
• Harden the platform with Azure security controls—RBAC, Azure AD integration, encryption at
  rest/in transit, and secrets management
  
• Drive SSRS → Power BI modernization (including Power BI Paginated Reports) at
  enterprise scale; rationalize report estate and optimize cost/performance.
  
• Collaborate with network teams to align data workloads with hub‑and‑spoke topology, VNet design, and ExpressRoute connectivity.
  
• Support pre‑sales and solutioning for multi‑cloud data platforms, Data Mesh strategies,
  and GenAI use cases; develop POVs and solution material.
  

Required
Experience & Skills

• Proven track record building Azure lakehouse platforms
  with Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, and Power BI
  
• Hands‑on with ADF, event streaming/integration (Event
  Hub/Service Bus), and orchestration (Logic Apps,
  Functions
  
• Demonstrated success in SAP ECC to Azure migration
  programs (data extraction, modeling, delta handling, reconciliation).
  
• Enterprise CI/CD using Azure DevOps (pipelines,
  artifacts, automated deployments) and production readiness practices.
  
• Security -by -design mindset: RBAC, Azure AD,
  encryption standards; familiarity with Azure governance (policies,
  monitoring
  
• Experience modernizing reporting estates from SSRS to Power BI, including paginated workloads
  
• Understanding of hub‑and‑spoke network architecture, VNets, and ExpressRoute implications for data platform
  connectivity.
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement; ability to guide pre‑sales,
  author solution artifacts, and present architectures to business and
  technical leaders.
