A Gentle Friendship to Share Tea, Sunshine & Smiles

In a peaceful retirement village in Hammondville, a lovely elderly lady is hoping to welcome a kind female volunteer into her world.

Living independently in her own home, she is visionâimpaired and sometimes the days feel a little quieter than sheâd like.

She loves a good chat, the comfort of a cuppa and cake, and talking about her garden, which brings her so much joy. On her best days, she enjoys a short drive to a local cafÃ©, soaking up fresh air, sunshine, and friendly conversation.

Your visit doesnât need to be longâjust 30 minutes to an hourâbut it could mean everything. A warm hello, shared laughter, and a friendly presence can truly brighten her weekend.

Best times: Saturday or Sunday, between 10:00am and 2:00pm

Frequency: Weekly or fortnightly (flexible)

Location: Hammondville

If youâre a patient, caring woman who enjoys simple pleasures and heartfelt connection, this could be a beautifully rewarding way to give back.

Sometimes the sweetest moments are shared over tea, cake, and genuine companionship.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
