We're looking for an Account Manager to join our team based in Melbourne. This is a newly created role focused on growing IXOM's Autogas business across Victoria, working with independent service stations, multi-site operators and major customers within the petrol and convenience market.

This is an opportunity to join a small but highly focused team, take ownership of a developing market and make a genuine impact on business performance. The role combines account management, contract management and business development, with significant opportunity to grow market share and build long-term customer relationships.

About your role

You'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across the Victorian Autogas market.

You'll work with independent owner-operators, multi-site customers and larger fuel retailers, ensuring strong customer service, contract performance and commercial outcomes. At the same time, you'll actively pursue new business opportunities and help increase IXOM's market share across the state.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being customer-facing, thrives on relationship building and is motivated by the challenge of winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Autogas customers across Victoria.


• Develop strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement.


• Identify and convert new business opportunities across the market.


• Manage pricing, contracts and commercial negotiations.


• Work closely with Product Managers, logistics and operational teams to deliver customer outcomes.


• Maintain territory plans, customer records and sales activity through CRM systems.


• Monitor market activity and provide insights to support growth strategies.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience within the petrol and convenience market.


• Commercially driven, customer-focused and motivated to grow their territory.


• Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development roles.


• Ideally you will have experience in fuels, LPG, industrial gases, AdBlue, lubricants or related industrial products.


• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.


• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously.


• Commercial acumen and the ability to identify new growth opportunities.


• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.


• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Science or Engineering will be regarded, but not essential.
