As the Industrial Account Manager, you will manage an existing portfolio of major distributors and customers that service major utilities, transport and renewable energy projects. Reporting to a consultative manager who embraces teamwork, you will have the operational support and resources to equip you to deliver results.
Formulate and execute account management strategies to strengthen business relationships with customers and major contractors
Gather product specifications and requirements from customers and major contractors
Work with Product Managers and the Internal Sales Support team to develop product and service offerings
Present proposals, contractual documents, and technical product information to customers
Work with the National Manager to develop annual and multi-year sales plans for target markets
Research and investigate emerging markets (utilities, transport and energy) to identify current and future business opportunities
Proven Industrial Account Management experience managing commercial or distributor accounts (experience working with major contractors and distributors)
Solutions selling experience with an ability to create value propositions that strengthen business relationships
Strong communication and presentation skills
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with an ability to manage multiple business relationships across major projects
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
