About the role

As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide and promote customer service, clerical and reception related services that strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes, adheres to the code of conduct, policies and procedures, values and goals of Eastern Health. 

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Understanding of customer service of internal and external customers and commitment to effectively meeting needs in a helpful and professional manner.

• Working knowledge of i.PM, CPF and other public health information systems, and familiarity with all computer software packages used within an administrative role e.g. Microsoft office.

• Awareness of privacy and confidentiality, individual and organisational responsibility within a health service.


• Effective and appropriate written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.


• Time management capabilities and ability to work to a deadline.


• A strong commitment to high quality care and working as part of a diverse team.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
