The Opportunity:

Are you looking to build a career in administration and operations? We are seeking a motivated Junior Administrator to join our transport team and provide vital support across customer service, driver debriefing, freight scheduling and general administration.

Based from our depot in Mareeba, this is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career, a recent school leaver, someone returning to the workforce, or looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced transport environment. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Depot Manager and Administration team, you will assist with the day-to-day coordination of transport operations, helping ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering phones and emails
• Driver Debriefing and paperwork processing
• Customer service and responding to enquires
• Freight bookings and delivery scheduling
• Data entry and general administration support
• Liaising with drivers, customers and depot personnel
• Assisting with reporting and operational administration

What You’ll Bring:

We're looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to stay organised and manage multiple tasks
• Previous administration or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
