About the Role

The Admissions Officer (Systems) plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of UOW's admissions systems, processes, and workflows, with a particular focus on the StudyLink admissions platform. Supporting the end-to-end admissions function, this position contributes to accurate, compliant, and efficient application processing while driving operational improvements and maintaining a high-quality experience for prospective students and stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain admissions systems, workflows, processes, and operational documentation to support efficient and compliant admissions outcomes.
• Coordinate the review, triage, and resolution of operational and system issues, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Analyse admissions data and prepare reports that support operational improvements and informed decision-making.
• Support testing, implementation, and enhancement of admissions systems and related technologies.
• Contribute to business continuity by delivering training, improving processes, and assisting with admissions assessment activities during peak periods.

About the Team

The position sits within the Admissions Operations team in the Admissions and Compliance Division and reports to the Manager, Admissions Operations. The team is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and student-focused admissions services while ensuring systems, processes, and policies support a seamless admissions experience. The role works closely with Admissions staff, Student Systems, Data and Analytics, IMTS, UOW College, project teams, and external vendors. 

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's degree and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and improving operational processes and administrative workflows.
• Strong systems capability, including experience working with databases, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop documentation, deliver training, and engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Role Details

• Employment type: Full-time, fixed term to end December 2026
• Level 5 | $85,682 - $96,898 per annum + 17% superannuation
• Location: Wollongong Campus/Hybrid
• Valid Australian work rights required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
