Your Opportunity

As an Adviser, you will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver tax compliance and business advisory services to a diverse range of clients. You will build your technical capabilities across tax and accounting matters while developing strong client service and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Prepare and review Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other compliance obligations.
• Support tax compliance and advisory engagements across a range of Australian taxation matters.
• Assist with Division 7A calculations and trust distribution requirements.
• Conduct tax research and prepare client advice on various tax issues.
• Work with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries.
• Assist with entity structuring, tax planning and business advisory engagements.
• Stay current with Australian tax legislation and regulatory developments.

Your Experience

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience within Australian Business Advisory, Business Services or Tax.
• Exposure to preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS.
• Foundational knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with a range of entity structures, including companies, trusts and partnerships, is desirable.
• Exposure to Division 7A, trust distributions and various entity structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and desire to continue developing your technical expertise.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Full working rights in Australia.

• Currently studying towards a CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
