About the opportunity:
*This role can be based either in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane*
Purpose
As a member of the Office sector’s Assets Services Platform team, the Application Services Specialist is responsible for the operational support, governance and continuous improvement of Charter Hall Office’s computer aided facilities management platform.
The role provides first and second level application support, ensuring that work order management, property data, compliance records, contractor workflows and reporting operate reliably and in alignment with operational, safety and financial controls.
Acting as the bridge between technology and operational delivery, this role supports Operations and Facilities Management, Procurement, Work Health and Safety, Property Management and Capital Works teams to ensure the platform drives process consistency, regulatory compliance, cost control and service performance. The position is responsible for data quality, system configuration and user access integrity while enabling disciplined change through a structured Change Review Board process.
What you’ll be doing
• Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting for end users of the application, ensuring swift and effective resolution of issues.
• Security: Administer user access, permissions and role-based security, including periodic access reviews and segregation of duties controls.
• Customer Service: Resolve problems while delivering a positive user experience, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Configuration: Support configuration of workflows across reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, capital works tracking, procurement approvals and safety incidents.
• Performance: Monitor system performance, data integrity and workflow adherence, identifying trends and root causes of recurring issues.
• Documentation: Keep existing user guides and training materials up to date, ensuring they are accurate and comprehensive.
• Testing: Conduct user acceptance testing for enhancements, integrations and system updates prior to production deployment.
• Training & Adoption: Help deliver training programs to ensure all stakeholders are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering maintenance performance, SLA compliance, contractor performance, cost tracking and safety metrics.
