Do you enjoy being creative and bringing joy to others through art?

Weâre looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to support arts and crafts sessions with residents at HammondCare Wahroonga, many of whom are living with dementia. Through simple, meaningful activitiesâlike painting, colouring, collage, or craftâyouâll help create moments of connection, self-expression, and calm.

No special skills are neededâjust a gentle presence, a listening ear, and a love for sharing creativity with others.

Your time and compassion can help brighten someoneâs day in the most beautiful way.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older â¢ NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare â¢

We are seeking to run a class Friday morning between 9:30-10:30am.
