Job Description

Fragomen Perth office is seeking an experienced immigration lawyer (Associate level) with at least 5 years of post admission (or registration) experience.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated drive and success in managing client portfolios, delivering strategic immigration advice.

This position offers an opportunity for structured professional growth and development in a fast-paced yet supportive and highly collaborative environment.  The position sits within one of our major corporate immigration teams where we represent a broad client base ranging from individuals and emerging businesses to many of the world’s leading multinational companies.  You can also have exposure to a variety of immigration matters outside of corporate work.

As an Associate at Fragomen, you will partner with some of the most recognised companies in Australia and the world. You will demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Australian immigration law and practice, proactively manage your caseload with support staff, think commercially and be able to cultivate strong client relationships.  You will have opportunities to work closely with senior staff, as well as coach and develop team members.

• Have demonstrated experience in Australian immigration law and practice

• A quick learner with excellent written and oral communication skills 

• Focused on client service, working with corporations to understand their challenges and executing solutions

• Process driven, with excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills

• Accountable, with an ability to work independently and perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Are an effective team player with a flexible and can-do work approach
