About the role
A core commitment of Eastern Health’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Program is engagement of people with Lived and Living Experience across all aspects of service provision. Lived and Living Experience informs and shapes the work undertaken by the Program and, to ensure this is implemented to its full potential, this senior role of Associate Program Director, Lived and Living Experience, will play a key role in ensuring the design, development and delivery of mental health service provision captures and includes the voices of those with Lived and Living Experience. This is a designated Lived Experience role and, as such, the incumbent must have a direct experience as a consumer or carer/supporter of a person with mental illness who has required treatment in the Victorian public mental health system.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
