They are recognised as a leading supplier of scaffolding, building materials, and services in ANZ, supplying some of the largest industrial and commercial projects across Australia. The role

As the ACT Branch Manager, you will be responsible for planning and setting the direction for the branch. Managing a small Sales and Operations team, you will:



  • Coordinate and manage all branch activities to meet quality, DIFOT, and profit targets

  • Participate in developing the strategic business plan for the ACT Branch 

  • Develop local sales strategies to retain and secure new business opportunities

  • Implement the regional marketing agenda to achieve sales objectives

  • Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key clients, commercial partners, and industry bodies

  • Negotiate and maintain contractual agreements within corporate guidelines

  • Introduce productivity measures that improve project visibility and delivery 

  • Develop and administer the annual budget

  • Monitor project progress and update project forecast 

  • Plan and monitor labour and equipment requirements to maximise margins and profits

  • Complete project reviews and make business improvement recommendations

  • Manage site safety and business risks

  • Apply enterprise agreements for the site as required






Requirements

The requirements

To be successful in the role it is essential that you have proven Branch Manager experience servicing the building and construction sector. You will have:



  • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience selling end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs

  • Strong people leadership and management skills

  • Experience managing multiple projects from inception to delivery

  • Sound contract negotiation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability

  • Knowledge of Scaffolding is highly advantageous but not essential to the role
