Cuppa & a Chat â A Friendly Visit Could Brighten Someoneâs Day
Sometimes the best medicine is simply a friendly face and a good chat.
Weâre offering warm, relaxed social visits for members of our community across The Beautiful Central Coast from Woy Woy, Gosford, Wyong, Lake Haven and Wyee.
What itâs about:
A simple visit to an elderly client living at home for a cuppa, a chat, and some companionship.
No rush, no pressureâjust a friendly conversation and a little company.
Visits include:
- Sharing a cuppa together
- A friendly chat and a listening ear
- Light activities, stories, or reminiscing
- A chance to connect and feel less alone
- When: Weekly or fortnightly visits
- Between 9am â 5pm
- About 1 hour
Sometimes an hour of kindness can mean the world to someone who may be feeling lonely. A small visit can bring comfort, laughter, and connection.
If you or someone you know would enjoy a regular friendly visit and a cuppa, weâd love to hear from you.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
