About the Role
As a Business Architect within Business Architecture & Design, you will create the blueprint for how the Insurance business delivers value. You'll work with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable change, shaping operating models, business capabilities, value streams and future state processes. This role offers the opportunity to influence major transformation initiatives while contributing to improved customer and business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with executives and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into target business architectures and transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value
Define and maintain business capabilities, value streams, information flows and organisational models, creating clear roadmaps for future growth and maturity
Design future state business processes and operating models that improve efficiency, customer outcomes and organisational performance across Insurance
Assess strategic opportunities, capability impacts, risks and dependencies to support investment decisions and portfolio planning
Contribute to architecture governance and enterprise frameworks, ensuring transformation initiatives align with strategic objectives
Build strong partnerships across business, technology and design communities to support integrated, insight-driven solutions
What You'll Bring
Experience in business architecture, strategic business analysis or enterprise transformation, with the ability to connect strategy to execution
Strong capability modelling and business process design expertise, with experience using tools such as ARIS, Horizzon or similar modelling platforms
Knowledge of business architecture frameworks including TOGAF, BIZBOK, ACORD or comparable methodologies and their practical application
Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, drawing on systems thinking and end-to-end value stream analysis to support decision-making
Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation and building productive relationships to deliver outcomes
Understanding of Lean, Agile or Design Thinking practices. Experience within insurance or complex enterprise environments will be highly regarded
