About the role
An opportunity exists for a Casual Customer Service Officer to join the Business Service Centre, providing essential support to internal and external visitors across multiple sites. This is a dynamic, service-oriented position ideal for someone with experience in reception or administration, preferably within a healthcare setting and the flexibility to work across day, afternoon and evening shifts at multiple sites.
As the first point of contact at the main reception desks, the Business Service Centre delivers 24/7 face-to-face, telephone, email support to internal and external stakeholders, as well as supporting emergency code procedures. The team plays a critical role in maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while also overseeing key administrative systems and providing help desk support.
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional customer service, responding to service requests and system faults, and performing a range of administrative duties.
This part time position is based at our Box Hill Hospital site with opportunities to work additional shifts at Angliss, Maroondah Hospitals.
This position is for 45 hours a fortnight over a rotating roster for the following shifts:
Week 1
Monday: 7am – 3pm
Tuesday: 7am – 3pm
Thursday: 7am – 3pm
Friday: 7am – 3pm
Week 2
Monday: 7am – 3pm
Tuesday: 7am – 3pm
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
