Job Description - Business Support Administrator Logistics

Role: Logistics Administrator


Location: Chandala Processing Facility - Brand Highway Muchea


Employment type: 7 Month Contract – Full Time


Roster: Mon - Fri 38 hr ave week - 9 day fortnight option

About the Role


We’re looking for a driven Logistics Administrator to join our Logistics Team on an 7 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is either experienced or earlier in their career but shows strong potential, especially in managing external relationships and thriving in a fast-paced logistics environment.


 


This role will be based at our Chandala Processing Plant and is located near Muchea, 70km north of the CBD.  Although this role is predominantly based at our Chandala Processing Plant, the occasional travel to Bunbury, Kwinana or Cataby will be required. If you are looking for a role to grow in, foster positive relationship and keen to travel, this is the role for you!


 


Reporting to the Logistic Manager, the Logistics Administrator will be accountable for:



  • Daily reconciliation process with contractors for WA sites

  • Daily update of reports

  • Invoice approvals & purchase order processes

  • Minute taking and distribution

  • Participate in End of Month process

  • Weekly SAP transactions

  • Participate in logistics charter where required (own appropriate tasks) – admin position of the associated projects 

  • Optimize administration processes

  • Update and audit required approvals and licenses (where appropriate)


 


 


About You


To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:



  • Hold a valid Australian Drivers license (essential)

  • Clear, effective and strong communication and time management skills

  • Able to read and interpret contracts or has the potential to develop this skill

  • Be self driven, use initiative but also be able to work in a team

  • Able to complete repeat tasks without lapse in consistency

  • Have or develop confidence when dealing with a wide variety of people, strong customer service skills

  • Flexible within your role and responsibilities along with the need for occasional travel

  • Be excited to learn and potentially step up in Logistics Coordinator roles

  • Experience with bulk logistics (desired)

  • Can problem solve and negotiate in a variety of formats (written & verbal)
