Care Companion (Personal Carer) | Blue Care | Sunrise Beach

  • Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

Your part in our BlueCare team

As a Care Companion, you’ll provide care to your residents in accordance with the Household Model of Care, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include: 

  • Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes, general mobility and laundry

  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

  • Advocating for the residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills and encouraging engagement

What makes a difference for us? 

  • Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification 

  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

  • NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
