Job Description - Case Assistant, Case Management & Remediation

  • Full time continuing opportunity (hybrid)

  • Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The new Case Management and Remediation team, within Workplace Relations and Compliance, is dedicated to supporting the University in meeting its compliance obligations. The team contributes to the University’s compliance objectives by driving the investigation and resolution of claims and enquiries, including pay outcomes. The team also has a key role in continuous improvement and the development of the University’s capabilities and understanding of workplace compliance, across all faculties and business areas, ensuring correct and consistent application of University‘s policies and procedures, industrial agreements and legislative requirements.

The Case Assistant, Case Management & Remediation, provides high-quality administrative support to the Case Management & Remediation team, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with university standards. This role involves managing communications, maintaining accurate records, coordinating reporting, and supporting case investigations in a sensitive and professional manner. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders while contributing to workplace compliance initiatives and small projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide efficient administrative support to the Case Management & Remediation team

  • manage inbox, triage enquiries, and ensure timely responses

  • maintain accurate records and trackers for reporting

  • assist with case investigations and gather information from stakeholders

  • prepare data and reports to support decision-making

  • build strong relationships and contribute to compliance initiatives and small projects.

About you

  • strong administration and organisational skills with attention to detail

  • excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • ability to manage multiple tasks and meet `

  • proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data reporting

  • knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (desirable)

  • works independently and collaboratively, using sound judgment and exercising confidentiality.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
