Casual- Plant inspectors (AICIP / API)

SRG Global is seeking experienced AICIP / API Inspectors on a casual basis to support work for key client operations in WA.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be part of a team delivering in-service inspection support during shutdowns, outages, and short-term maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-service inspections of pressure equipment including pressure vessels, storage tanks, and associated systems in accordance with relevant codes and client specifications


• Prepare detailed inspection work scopes, including coordinating NDT requirements and reviewing equipment history


• Analyse findings and produce accurate, compliant inspection reports


• Support clients with statutory compliance requirements and maintain accurate inspection databases


• Work collaboratively with client stakeholders, NDT teams, and site personnel during shutdown activities


• Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards in high-risk environments

Ideal Qualifications & Experience

• AICIP certification (preferred) or API 510 & API 570 (minimum required)


• API 653 certification (highly desirable)


• Demonstrated experience in oil & gas, refinery, or heavy process plant environments (essential)


• Exposure to shutdowns, outages, or short-term site-based inspection work


• NDT certification (AINDT or equivalent) – desirable


• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards for in-service inspection of pressure equipment


• Experience working in mining, industrial, or process plant environments


• Willingness to travel and mobilise for shutdown assignments
