Casual Technician

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Lead Technician in the execution of on-site and workshop scopes of work; and, in the absence of a Senior Technician, providing support to the Base Supervisor with job allocation for the following day where required.


• Responsible for assisting all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.


• Responsible to complete and maintain a daily diary.


• Responsible to maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site. 


• Responsible to promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.


• Responsible to comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.


• Responsible to comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as varied from time to time.

Requirements:

• With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill


• Trade certificate is highly preferable


• Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License.


• Must hold a Construction Card


• Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.


• Ability to work shift work


• Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.


• Ability to work with minimal supervision.


• Good written and verbal communication in the English language


• Computer literacy an advantage.
