About the Opportunity

In this role, you’ll help shape the future of the IGA supermarket network by supporting the creation of shopper-led trade plans, sourcing great deals, and working with suppliers to bring innovative products and promotions to life. In this Role

• Broad general merchandise category experience across multiple product areas (electrical, home, kitchen, seasonal)


• End-to-end delivery of seasonal programs, with strong commercial acumen including pricing and clearance management


• Hands-on sourcing experience across domestic and international supplier networks


• Strong critical path management, ensuring alignment across sourcing, logistics, and delivery timelines


• Ability to design and execute relevant, commercially viable seasonal programs


• Effective stakeholder engagement across suppliers, logistics, QA, and cross-functional teams including stores and operations

You’re Likely a Match If  

• Extensive FMCG experience (e.g., Buying), with sound knowledge of supermarket retailing and supply chain efficiencies


• Strong and collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and guide teams


• Excellent understanding of promotional processes, category management, pricing strategies, and profitability drivers


• Proven ability to lead teams through change while coaching to leverage talent and capability


• Strong data and analytics background with the ability to build and execute effective strategies


• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to partner with internal teams and external stakeholders
