Client Database Administrator - 6 Month Contract

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic database administrator to join our team and help us maintain and optimise our client relationship management (CRM) platform, Salesforce.  Reporting to the Corporate Finance COO this full-time (contract) role supports Barrenjoey’s enterprise-wide CRM across all business lines, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets (Equities, Fixed Income, Research) and Investment Management.  The successful candidate will play an important role in enhancing Barrenjoey’s client relationship management and supporting business growth.

Database Management

• Ensure the CRM database is accurate, up-to-date, and efficiently organised with client records maintained at both an account (organisation) and contact level. Manage data integrity and quality and implementing continuous development 
  and improvement


• Analyse datasets for inconsistencies, trends, and insights to uplift data and reporting


• Collaborate with various business lines to support their data collection and maintenance model including performing bulk uploads using data tools


• Maintain client data segmentation for the relevant business areas, in compliance with confidential information protocols


• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on client data management processes.

CRM System Optimisation

• Drive system improvements, implement change including new business adoption


• Implement and monitor data integrity protocols to ensure the quality and reliability of CRM data


• Assist the Technology team to maintain CRM system access, user roles, security settings, profiles, sharing and workflow rules


• Work with business and Technology teams to implement system releases, new features, and connectivity to other data sources ensuring our CRM leverages the latest capabilities


• Collaborate with Barrenjoey’s Technology team, business and external vendors, clearly articulating business requirements, to optimise the CRM system for better performance, reporting and user experience
