  • Coffs Harbour (2 vacancies) and Port Macquarie (2 vacancies)

  • Talent Pool creation for future Hub vacancies. (Coffs Harbour Hub includes Forster, Taree, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Coffs Harbour & Grafton)

  • Ongoing – Full Time (35 hrs. per week)

  • Clerk Grade 1/2, base salary ($75,728 - $82,329), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading


 


Your role


 


The Client Services Officer provides a broad range of clerical and administrative support, including responding to client enquiries, data entry, and records management. In the Local Courts, the role is primarily focused on supporting the operation of courtrooms. As a Client Services Officer, you are required to be present whenever court is in session, where you assist with proceedings by performing the duties of a Court Officer and/or Court Monitor.


 


What you’ll do


 



  • Facilitates the smooth operation of the court by effectively liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Anticipates the needs of the judiciary and other key stakeholders in the courtroom, providing timely and effective responses.

  • Deliver high-level clerical and administrative support to the court and registry.

  • Accurately enter data using computer systems.

  • Provide exceptional client services.

  • Aid in the effective implementation of improved work practices.

  • Adapt to working in various jurisdictions.

  • Adhere to departmental policies and practices, including harassment prevention, EEO, EAPS, Code of Conduct, WH&S, Ethical Work Practices, Disability Awareness, and ATSI Strategies.

  • Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and provide clear, timely responses.

  • Strong clerical and administrative abilities to support court operations and manage data accurately.

  • Competence in using computer systems for data entry and other administrative tasks.
