About the role


 


 


The Clinical Governance Partner role entails working with the Residential Aged Care Services Program Directors, Clinical Directors and Director of Nursing to support and deliver:


 


 



  • Oversight of Program Quality & Safety committee

  • Effective management of new and identified risks

  • Monitoring of performance measures 

  • Incident management including Serious Incident Response Scheme reporting

  • Support of systems and

  • Ability to engage clinical leaders in safety initiatives

  • Understanding of continuous impro

  •  process to ensure accreditation and legislative standards are met


 


 


About you 


 


 


To be successful in this role you will possess:


 


 



  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • Ability to engage clinical leaders in safety initiatives

  • Understanding of continuous improvement within quality and safety 

  • Knowledge of the National Safety and Quality standards and Aged Care Quality Standards

  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines

  • Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, health services management or other relevant qualification


 


 


Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.


Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
