About the role
As part of the Eastern Health Institute, the Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) is an integral part of the Learning and Teaching team, growing our future midwifery workforce and providing evidence-based education strategies to support learners, at all levels, within maternity services at Eastern Health. If you have strong clinical knowledge, value family centred care, and hold recent experience in midwifery education; we are excited to hear from you!
Your leadership and high clinical standards will enable and inspire the development of knowledge, driving learning and professional growth across the midwifery workforce.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
