Cloud Engineer

·       Must Have Skills:
Cloud Engineer with 12+ years’ experience supporting enterprise Windows,
VMware, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments

·       Strong hands -on experience with
VMware ESXi/vSphere 7 & 8, vCenter, HA/DRS, VM migration, lifecycle
maintenance, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) aligned infrastructure
operations.

·       Experienced in Windows Server
2016/2019/2022, Server Core, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, patching, and
enterprise security hardening.

·       Experience in Azure
infrastructure, including Azure VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor,
Azure Automation, Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and hybrid cloud
integration.

·       Knowledge on backup and
recovery experience using Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik, and exposure to Cohesity
backup platforms.

·        Technically expert to business communication
skills, adept at clearly explaining technical subject matter to business user.

·       Should be experience on infrastructure automation
using PowerShell and Azure Automation, with working knowledge of VMware
vRealize Automation (vRA) for automated VM provisioning.

·       VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) – Exposure to VCF architecture, workload domains, lifecycle
management, SDDC concepts, and VMware private cloud infrastructure
operations. 

·       VIRTUALISATION - (VMWARE GSX, ESXi 3, 4, 5, 6, 6.5 & 6.7) VMWARE
Infrastructures. (Microsoft HYPER -V 2008 -2019) MS Virtual Server.

·       VMware ESXi 3.x to 8.x, vCenter
Server, vSphere HA/DRS, VM templates, cluster management, lifecycle patching,
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) architecture exposure, workload domain
concepts, SDDC Manager awareness, and Hyper -V 2008–2022.

·       BACKUP & RECOVERY – Commvault, Veeam Backup & Replication, Rubrik, Cohesity
exposure, Acronis, ShadowProtect, Backup Exec/NetBackup, backup validation,
restore testing, and repository management.

·       Network
Systems/OS’s Management - (GPO/WINS/DNS/DHCP/ACTIVE
DIRECTORY) SCCM 2007 -2012 Deployment OS Win 7/10, Office 07/2010 and
Third -party Apps.

·       Server Hardware – Blade Servers IBM/HP/DELL, HUAWEI, Intel
Tower/Rack Servers, Nutanix, Cisco UCS and Brocade.

·       SAN Storage – EMC VNX, NIMBLE, HUAWEI OCEAN STORE.

·       Migration Tools – Platespin / Zerto / Veeam / DoubleTake.

·       IAM Management – App Management / B2B/ Conditional Access / Hybrid Identity/ Azure
Identity resources.
