Communications Advisor

Our client URGENTLY requires Communications Advisor for 36months + Contracts in Buderim.

The Communications Advisor will provide communication advice and support in the areas of communication strategy and risk assessment, stakeholder, community engagement, media and issues management related to transport infrastructure projects. You will develop and maintain ongoing key strategic relationships and networks with other government agencies, project partners, contractors, community and interest groups and internal and external clients.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Proficiency in building and sustaining relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes and aptitude for adjusting to evolving environments and changing expectations.
• Experience in a strategic communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector.
• Demonstrated capability in community engagement, executive correspondence, public relations and media.
• A degree in communications, public relations, journalism or marketing would be highly desirable.

A Certification in International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) in Engagement will be highly advantageous!
